Lazgill continues to invest in the latest CNC technology in order to offer customers the highest quality product whilst improving efficiencies, to be able to manufacture product based upon continual improvement within an increasingly competitive market place. All product is planned prior to production, ensuring smooth passage to on-time delivery.
CNC MILLING
We currently boast two twin-spindle machining centres, twin pallet loading and spindle speeds of 12,000 rpm. Six further twin pallet 15,000 rpm high specification CNC single spindle machining centres and four 2007/8 model 16,000 rpm twin pallet, high pressure coolant with tool monitoring to complement the high production machining centre activity at Lazgill.
Single spindle
larger capacity machining centres offer 4th and 5th axis machining as well
as conventional 3-axis and electronic probing. All machining centres make
use of our own designed and manufactured workholding fixtures for machine
efficiency incorporating poke-yoke or twin vice holding system, a fast operating
double holding vice arrangement for efficient manual loading and unloading.
CNC TURNING
2-axis, 3, 6 and 8-axis CNC turning centres
ensure that our customers’ products are designed into the manufacturing
process. From bar to finished product without the need for manual loading/unloading
, twin spindle, twin turret and incorporating power-driven tooling combining
with the latest in tooling design and materials.
